i love AVG antivirus. it works good. But i heard that Avast works even better. So i just downloaded Avast. so now i have both avg and avast. is that bad for my computer? will it crash or cause damage?

if so, which one do you prefer i keep.

Not just Limewire, but any of those ile sharing programs. I'm just wondering if any of you have ever gotten letters demanding money or been caught? If you are, what kind of file were you downloading and did you know who they caught you?

i read on some websites that using p2p can have other users
get access to your pc or get hacked , is this just bullshit because they all say allow ur firewall to give full access to gnutella and to just
just scan the files u download with anti virus or malware.

I have got plenty of virus protection,avg 7.5,Super anti-spy ware, Smitfraudfix but I got this flickering it does it so fast that I(anyway) don't see it unless I just happen to be looking at the bottom bar on this piece of thing I call a computer! Any Help will be greatly appreciated and I would like to thank you in advance so if I forget my manners!

Can I run antispyware from http://www.superantispyware.com. I have on my machine the above Ad-Aware plus Windows Defender, and Microsoft Malicious Software Removal Took as well as AVG Anti-Virus and AVG Anti-Rootkit from Grisoft.com, together currently with Windows Firewall, but soon to try again Zone Alarm. Am I getting too security conscious?

I have 'AD-aware SE Plus' installed ,it has a real-time shield as "Ad-watch" which monitors all the activites and guard against online threats,how prolific and safe only GOD knows!

As my system is slow,also internet connetion is very slow,so i want your advice about n"Do i need to install another anti-virus(es)?" because those anti-vorus softwares make systems and internet connection more slow ..anyway if i need to for my pc's total security then recommend a software which uses the minimum amout of application memory with the most secure protection facility against all kind of pc-online threats?

At an internet Cafe abroad I found that every time i went to a new address on IE the title bar (that is the white on blue text)showed the name of the site i was using plus the words " - -Internet Explorer Hacked by Godzilla" The Cafe operator knew nothing of this until i pointed it out. What was going on? Needless to say I did not continue my session there.

when i go to the page, a bar pops up at the top of the page which i right-click and then select install ActiveX control, however, it then pops up with a Security Warning screen -
"Windows has blocked the program because it can't verify the publisher"
I know the site is safe because I've been there before, but when I got my comp reformatted, it has a more security-safe internet system.
