ok i have a PSP and a new laptop and i need the WEP security password from my home computer network to set them both up....HELP PLEASE!

Basically, my friend has this problem with her toolbar (on XP)

So when you have a window open, its toolbar button appears on the toolbar on the bottom of the screen. When she goes to minimize the window, the button disappears from the toolbar and she has to alt+tab to get the window back. Does anyone have a solution to keeping the toolbar button on the toolbar? Thanks

I keep getting a pop-up from Adobe Reader to update.

The description says “The Adobe Reader 7.0.9 Update will install Adobe Reader 7.0.9 and provides several important security files. Adobe recommends that all users install this update.”

I don’t know. Is the “several important security files” is for my benefit or if it is for Adobe’s benefit and my detriment?

Does anybody have the answer to this question?

I try to connect to Google talk and it says 'Could not connect to the Google Talk service (error 0)'. What could I do to be able to connect?(Because the internet connection still works).The connection I have only 'detects proxy automatically'...and maybe I need a firewall...not sure, because I'm confused. Where can I find a firewall, also?
I need a lot of help.

For now I have changed my settings to the UK content which prevents gmail from shifting me to the new one but i guess it wont stay that way for long. Will the old one be ruled out soon?

When xp starts up the graphics on the screen are of very poor quality. Under my computer the system is picking up the new memory added but the picture quality is bad and the error message shows up upon Boot. I made sure that I purchased memory with the proper specs. Please help!!

Im new to e-bay and i thought it would be fun to begin biding on items. So it turns out i am the highest bidder on two items and i am no longer willing to purchase them! Basically the topic, I have a Westell Versalink 327W for my AT&T(Formerly bell south) DSL connection and I need to close 2 ports that some things that may be lagging me are connected to.

I searched just about everywhere possible and I can't find any information on closing ports with this router, only opening them.

Anyone ever done this on this router before?

So I've made my drop-down list and it works fine, I just want to fine tune it, but not sure if what I want to do is even possible...

When I roll my mouse over the field that contains the drop-down list, the graphic arrow appears, and then I can click on that to reveal my list. Is there a way to make that arrow show up permanently, so that I don't have to investigate each and every cell to see if it has a drop-down list? I just want to be able to look at my page and easily see what boxes are drop-down lists.

The second question: can I change the size of the drop-down list so that I don't have a scroll bar on the right side of the list, and so that all my options so up without having to scroll to them?

when i insert into mysql using:

1 is inserted in the mysql table columns for: $datestriped and $author!!

why is this?

my data types are varchar(200) null etc...

i have tried everything, these variables print fine in php!
i saved test.php as: utf-8 and tried & other formats, whats going on?

I just bought this computer and on the first day it locked up 3 times and went to this blue screen that said something like crash dump.
It runs really slow and is always freezing.

I have another computer with an AMD Athalon 64 3500, 1 gb of RAM with Win XP and it runs great compared to this thing and I bought it 2 years ago.

Ok here is what has happened, He recieved an IM with a link he clicked on it and got a virus, it keeps sending Ims to all his contacts, now it is saying he is on line when he is not. How does this work and how can he fix it? The IMs are different everytime., as well.

My XP won't play any sound at all - when i click on windows media player it says "Can't perform operation, low memory" - when i click on windows movie maker it says "windows movie maker cannot be used because the required audio hardware cannot be found on your computer" - where the vidio should be on youtube it just says "hello, you either have javascript turned off or you have and old version of adobe flash player" i've downloaded the one it tells me to and still the same - i've deleted lots and lots of files and still nothing - i've checked everythings slotted in the back properly - i've tested the speakers with my mp3 and the work ok. Please help!!! oh and when i minimise things they dont show up in the taskbar and my spywares broken - oh and i've also scanned for viriuses and such like and nothing major came up. I'll shut up now lol x
