I don't know which is better?

I'm leaning towards Google because I hear everyone uses it. Don't know much about Live Search.

Just wondering what users here think. Tell me why which is better.

Live Search.

Google is notorious for tapping into users' private data and sending it to adSense advertisers. Do you feel safe with a big eye watching you?

And Live Search has just as big of an index as Google's does. And more doesn't necessarily = better. The first results are usually as correct as the ones in Google.

And maybe web search may not be that interesting to you, but Image Search and Video search by far trumps Google! It really does.

Image Search - With Google, you have to keep flipping pages if you don't like the ones you see. With Live, you have an 'endless scroll' and not have to click on another page if not needed. AND you can drag and drop images you like onto a scratchpad for reference and even save it. Live's is also more clean, and you can hover over thumbnails for more info.

Video Search - Google's is rather static. With Live, you can hover over thumbnails and get a preview of the video right in the results. And you can Favorite ones you like.

At least give it a try : http://live.com/

@SpeeDemon : Live Search for "spybot" is kind of different than the one you posted. The one I found goes here : http://search.live.com/results.aspx?q=spybot&go=Search&form=QBRE

And it does just as well as Google's :)

Google is by-far the best of all that is out there. I have tested and used them all. They all use Googles services in some extent or another. Google give you more options.

I use google, as does most of the world. Try searching for popular items like "Spybot" and compare. Google will take you to Safer Networking's website (who actually makes the program). It will even offer to take you directly to the download page. Live Search sends you around the web first, to third party download locations, etc. Who knows if those sites even have the latest version yet...

Find out yourself. Pick a topic and search with both search engines and compare the results.Personally I try them all and nothing compares to google. Worst of them all "yahoo search"

Google- millions more people use it, therefore companies would more likely put there site on google, so you get more results.
