Okay, let me get a little more specific.

It's a Toshiba Satellite (P series), and it has Windows Vista in it. I purchased the laptop not knowing the cd drive did not work, and I got it all the way I want it, so I really do not want to take it back and get a new one.

cdrom.sys is a Windows system file that is operating system specific.. in my case, its with Vista. When I was in the device manager, it said the driver could not be loaded because its either missing or corrupt, I know that its there, so its corrupt.

Is there anyone out there that can copy and paste this file to me or have a link to somewhere I can download it? Toshiba's and Windows' website was not helpful (what a suprise, right?)

Okay, I havent used my computer for like 1 month. But when I turned it on, it is in wide screen mode. I never touched it, went to control panel and did he screen resolution thing and it didnt work. Checked my monitor but everything is working fine. So right now im guessing that it is my PC. Whats the matter. I never touch the PC for a while.

I have a hard drive that has info on it and is NTFS. How can I connect it to a computer with an existing other hard drive with the OS just so that I can get the info off of this new/other hard drive?
I tried just plugging it in and everything, and it said, "Problem loading OS" or something like that, so I think it was trying to boot off of the wrong drive. BTW, my drive with the OS on it is SATA and the NTFS with info and no OS is IDE.

I'm having trouble connecting to XBOX Live using my wireless internet connection and was wondering if there are any other ways round this.

I have a BT Home Hub and are using 3 computers with wireless internet, the Home Hub has 3 Ethernet ports available and 2 USB's available.

However the XBOX Ethernet cable is to short to reach it and therefore I'm having to connect it from the XBOX console to a Computer however it doesn't seem to want to pass the IP Address Test on the XBOX Live Connection Test.

The Internet Gateway remains disconnected and cannot connect as it always says Fail.

Is my only option buying a XBOX 360 wireless adaptor which are quite pricey just to be able to play online....

Any answers will be appreciated...if you need more information just ask and I'll try to include it.

I have imageRUNNER C3170U made by canon.
Once I turn on the copier, it loads and warms up but then an error message shows up that says: "Shut down the machine and turn the power off and turn it back on. If you receive this message again contact your rep. Error Number: E000067-0110.

Let me know if anybody can help, I would appreciate it.

What does this task on the computer do: When I press CTRL+ALT+DEL buttons a "Windows Task Manager" box comes up, under the tab labeled "Processe", the image name, user name, CPU and Mem Usage information comes on. My wireless internet has stoped working and hasen't worked for about 1 month. For now i am using the wire for internet accsess.The switch on the side of my laptop goes blue when it is connected and it's red even when i turn it both ways . My dad ses he thinks i have brocken the switch by fiddiling with it to much ? Is it somehting to do with norton sercurity internet ? Please if this has happened to you or u know what to do i would appriciate it if you would explain.
