best way to cheat Spyware and Virus
is to get LINUX LIVE, as soon as the computer is reset its any thing on the system is dead, best thing for just surfing.
Maybe Linux OS i dout if you get many VIRUS or Spyware made for Linux systems

I use McAfee. They have never let any spy ware or virus infect my computer. Although have to keep it updated. Consumer Reports rated this to be the best.

The best anispyware is NORTON 360. I have it and it not only scans but it
liveupdates
virus and spyware checks
weak password checks
network address check
Internet temporary files clean up
windows temporary files clean up
interent history cleanup
disk optimization
and backs up all your importamt files.

Norton and Advast... Spybot and i think Norton is the best

I like CA's antispyware. Real time protection and deletes all tracking cookies as you exit. Not free, though.

Norton is a RAM hog and not nearly as effective.

i wud advise you not to get ad-aware or spybot, superadnti spyware is better, download the free edition.it also detects viruses. and its 12MB.
