If you're using a router, then I believe you can just plug the XBox into the router using an Ethernet cable.

If you're using a computer with wireless capabilities, then you may need to search for the network on the computer that you'd like connected to the network.

However, you may also be able to connect the computer to the router using an Ethernet cable as well.

the ideal and maximum inexpensive decision is to connect the 2d pc to between the Ethernet ports of your router utilising an Ethernet cable (not extra configuration mandatory fairly if the router has already been configured). this is that if the pc is close sufficient. in any different case, you may consistently hook up with the router wirelessly, in spite of the reality which you will would desire to have a instant adapter to confirm that this to paintings.

What you need is a router, and an adapter for each item you wish to hook up to your network. I am going to give you some links to help you get started. Read the information, then purchase the hardware you need.

Now, the router hooks up to your modem, and then your computer, Xbox, etc, can hook up either with ethernet, (RJ45 Category 5 or Category 6 cables) or if you purchase a router with a Wireless Access Point, you can buy wireless adapters instead of wired, and hook up a wireless network.

Most routers come with at least four ports for hooking up via ethernet cable. If you also have a wireless access point, or WAP, then you can have a mixed network with both wired and wireless devices.

Good luck and much fun with the Xbox. Please have a good day.

I'm not really sure what you are asking.
A wireless adapter is a device to connect one machine (computer, game box, whatever) to a wireless network.
It is not designed to allow multiple machines to connect to it.
A wireless router is a device that acts as the controller of a network.
Each machine with a wireless adapter connects to the wireless router over radio waves. The router allows all the machines to work together and share an Internet connection.
I think what you are asking is how to connect multiple machines using wireless to one Internet connection.
The answer is a wireless router

You can only connect 1 computer per network adapter. I think you might be in need of a router (with switching) meaning that it has a built in switch that usually has 3 or 4 ports in most residential level routers.
