My wireless internet has stoped working and hasen't worked for about 1 month. For now i am using the wire for internet accsess.The switch on the side of my laptop goes blue when it is connected and it's red even when i turn it both ways . My dad ses he thinks i have brocken the switch by fiddiling with it to much ? Is it somehting to do with norton sercurity internet ? Please if this has happened to you or u know what to do i would appriciate it if you would explain.
I have just posted this question and would like some more awnsers . I have windos vista laptop if that helps

The same thing happened to me. We took it into Best Buy and they had to re-install Windows. If that is the case, back EVERYTHING up, because you will lose everything.

Press the windows key and hold it, press down the pause break key, let go of both, should have system properties shown now, click on the left side where it says device manager, look on the device manager on the left side of the list there are plus signs, find the one that is next to network adapters. click that and seeif there are any marks next to itthat show it is disabled. If it is not then there is something else wrong.

first disable your wireless connection. then hit repair and it will come up. or go to a repair store

try this- unplug your router from the mains and then unplug the telephone line, wait quarter-hour, plug the telephone line lower back in and then turn the flexibility on. anticipate the router to latch up and then try lower back

does it say 'Limited or No Connectivity'?
if it does then you need to renewel your ip address that runs from your laptop to your router
