I have a hard drive that has info on it and is NTFS. How can I connect it to a computer with an existing other hard drive with the OS just so that I can get the info off of this new/other hard drive?
I tried just plugging it in and everything, and it said, "Problem loading OS" or something like that, so I think it was trying to boot off of the wrong drive. BTW, my drive with the OS on it is SATA and the NTFS with info and no OS is IDE.

Two things to do, on the new other hard drive make sure to set the hard drive to slave by making the jumper selection (usually near the cable connection) on the drive. Set the other drive to Master. Then go into the BIOS and set the boot order in there as well. It should then boot properly and detect both drives.

Go to BIOS and then assign the hard drive to be boot as primary device.

Plug into second plug on same line as the existing Hard Drive.
Remove the jumper from the second Hard Drive.
Go into the BIOS & enter the second Hard Drive as SLAVE

you must configure your bios and assign the SATA drive to boot first.
