Videos means "bandwidth".
That is, only if you have more than one visitor at a time.
You have to count at least 250kb/sec bandwidth PER simultaneous visitor.
If you only have a few visitors, a "normal server" would be sufficient.
To "embed" your videos, check the source of this page:
http : // www.skytargets.com / wd / samples / hideaway / main.htm
(it is a sample on my site)
The video is the first

(Set autostart to 1 so it plays automatically, or to 0 to start on request. In this case, set "showcontrols" to 1).
Do NOT put more than one video autostart=1 on the same page. (results in conflicts).
The video will start with whatever player the user has.

If you want, you can also design your own "player" in Flash, but this is quite more complicated.
See some players I designed on www.tinmandownloads.com

Easiest solution is to host the videos on youtube itself then just link to them on your site (see the "embed" field in the info panel to the right of videos there). This means there's no strain on your web server but of course it does limit potential content, length, and quality. You could investigate a similar solution from other sites such as www.megavideo.com

Video hosting can be an expensive thing to host yourself. I would try to find a hosting provider that allows you to how like the videos to your site. I ave used Blip.tv in the past with good results. You can then link to the FLV file provided by Blip with a Flash app like JW FLV.
