Log on to a computer that is Wired to the router ( connected to it with an ethernet cable)

you need to log on to your router

go into internet explorer and type your router's ip address, depending on your router (it is usually 192.168.0.1 or 192.168.1.1) to check what it is, click start, run, type cmd and press enter. type ipconfig and press enter.

the "Default Gateway" is your routers ip address, so type that into the address bar

a username/password box should come up. Usually these are left blank. press ok

now, inside your routers homepage you want to look for some page relating to wireless.. your wep key should be listed there

Unless you changed it, the password is admin. Every one knows that that's why WEP is such poor security.

if it is a router from verizon the WEP is on the bottom of the modem and roter. but if you have a netgear or linksys or a belkin it maybe on a CD you et to set up the router or it could be on the router good luck

Hi. Log into your router and get to 'Administrative'. The key will listed in there.
