I give a lot of presentations on a software that I'm trying to sell. During a normal presentation, I find it a great hassle to flip back and forth between a maximized window of the software that I'm demoing and a powerpoint presentation that accompanies the demo. I would like to find a software that allows for presentation slides to be on top of the active window while allowing me to resize, click and drop, forward slides, and guage the transparency level etc. Are there any products like this out there?

Its actually my inlaws computer, its 4 years old, has 512 mb RAM. It takes 20 minutes to completely start up. they have 2 "users", and to switch between the 2 takes 20 minutes as well. Is it the ram? would having only 1 user help?

its driving me crazy someone please help

Hello..
My computer won't boot past the "Hp" Bios screen if i have a CMOS battery inserted.. If i remove the battery, I can boot fine.. I want to use this pc as a server, without a keyboard/mouse or monitor. If i start without CMOS battery, it'll ask me to press F2 to resume boot, or something like that..

Does anyone have any idea why it locks up when CMOS battery is inserted, and works fine when there is no CMOS battery inserted??

Please note: I have tested two (2) CR2032 batterys, and one CR2025.. all to no avail.

I turned the pc off. came back again 10mins later.. to find it now doesnt even boot at all.. Any ideas?

PCs usually come in dull colours. Rarely, one also sees some black ones.
Has anyone ever seen PCs in other colours. And if not, then what is the reason for these limited colours?

I want to burn vcd onto a dvd. I even tried converting the vcd into dvd format using Apex mpeg vcd to dvd program but it wouldn't recognize my vcd files. What gives?

I have Windows ME right now (i know it sucks.. lol) BUT i am going to get Windows XP and i was wondering if i installed XP if i would still have my songs on my computer (i have over 500 songs)... someone i know told me i would still have them if i installed XP and someone told me i wouldnt... so does anyone know if i would still have my songs on my computer if i installed XP??? For a few months, my computer has been getting slower and slower. I'm wondering if the commit charge has anything to do with it being slow? When you push CTRL+ALT+DELETE and bring up the task manager, at the bottom right it has a commit charge. Now mine is 259112k / 759960k at the moment. Now should it be higher, like 525000 / 759960k? If it is, I would need to know how to raise that commit charge to what it should be. Thanks for reading and helping!

First of all my OS is Windows 2000 professional. I had to Download Adobe 8.1 w/ Google bar I did that fine. The problem I'm having is once I click on the attachment from my email I thought it should open automatically, but instead it's opening up in some word document with alot of gibberish letters. I don't have Microsoft Office at all on my PC I deleted accidentally along time ago. So then I click on Adobe from Desktop open it that way do a search for the pdf file in search but don't know how to open. Please help what am I doing wrong?

Its seems some of you are too lazy to read all of the text in many questions but you think too much of your opinion to bypass the question.

So I, and others like me, choose to CAPITALIZE words for emphasis to assist in your comprehension.

but thats no good either because some of you are just too #$!@-ng precious to look at capital letters. you feel you are being shouted at.

too bad!! we use the tools we have, and if you are too fragile to be shouted at then maybe you need to peel yourself out of that chair in the basement and step into the real world.

Maybe you will run into someone and try to unload some of that self righteous crap on them in person. then you will know you've been shouted at..

Ive got a Trojan on my laptop and I've done a hell of a lot to try to get rid of it. Ive scanned it with my regular anti virus but can't get rid of it so I then tried AVG, also unsuccessful. As a last resort I ran Spybot Search & Destroy but still to no avail. Also can't delete it manually.
Any help would be reallllllly great
