I don't think so, because i have it and it hasn't changed my computer at all.

yes i would say because a couple of months ago i got a brand new computer i did not download anything or open emails and i went to their website and my computer crashed!!

I've tried it- but it'd slowed it down, so I got rid of it. Otherwise- it didn't seem to hurt it- any.
