i am trying to send a video to one of my friends over msn or yahoo messenger. it is taking a very long time to transfer from my computer to hers. is there a way that i can down-size my video, but not cutting anything out, so the sending process will be faster?

When I go to turn my computer on I keep getting a message saying that the file \windows\system32\config\SYSTEM is missing or corupt after the ACER logo apphears. My dad booted the system with a CD and noticed the file was changed by a virus but he can't get the virus and doesn't know what to do, can anyone help?

For some reason music match jukebox will not open just a glimps of the eggtimer and then it disappears. I have tried to open it from the all programmes but no good.It was working and as far as I know I haven't done or changed anything. Help required please.

okay so i walked away from the computer and came back
and like 1/4th of my computer screen is gone! its black. like everything works fine its just scrunched into the right side of my screen now and theres no buttons on the outside of my computer so dont suggest that! so please help<33

a star like thing in the task bar has come up. When i start the windows it says non-validated windows. I use pirated copy, is there any way i can delete it plz.

at start up i get this following message:

svchost.exe- Application Error
The instruction at "0x77f52322" referenced memory at "0x00002b48"
The memory could not be "read"
Click ok to terminate the program

i either click the close button or the okay button but either way when i log in on anyones account i get this message:

NT AUTHORITY/SYSTEM is shutting down due to Remote Procedute Call (RPC) was terminated unexpectedly.

also most of the time when i log on the start button, and the bar at the button on the screen (where the start button is located) is gone.

what happened and how do i fix it.

If you sign up for email updates or notices from a company, are you put off by HTML formatting (images / background colors / etc) in the emails? Is there a point where the HTML formatting is too much? How to you feel about: inline links, font-sizes / text-formatting, background colors, tables, etc? What's acceptable and what isn't?

I used to be able to run a few programs at the same time without it dogging out but now i cant.I have cleaned out my hard drive,now i have over 40 gigs of free space.Thats over half of my total space.I have run system mechanic 7, ccleaner and adaware several times.Every thing checks out ok.Like i said,this thing used to seem pretty peppy with more than one program running.I would like to be able to run a radio or a widget or maybe "lime" or a spyware cleaner or something of that nature and still be able to do other things like browse the internet and download music or listen to stuff i have on itunes.Thanks for the help.

I saved a document from my email and now I can't find it.

So what I did is act like I was going to save it again from my email and look at the folder my computer was going to automatically put it.

So when I look to retrace the steps it goes from Local Disc C to my Documents to Local Settings and then to Temp

However, when I follow these steps, there is no Temp folder under the Local Settings even though when I attempt to save the document, that is the path it shows.

Does anyone know how I can get into this Temp folder??

every time i try to upload photo's from my packard bell imedia pc it gives me this message
'1) DSC00103.JPG is not a JPEG, GIF, BITMAP or PNG image. You can only upload files ending in jpg, jpeg, gif, png or bmp.' but the files ARE in right format and i can upload same photos on work pc fine!? they are stored in adobe photo album if this makes any difference..help!?
