Are you sure?

Open My Documents to get into Windows Explorer, click on the Tools Tab > Folder Options > View Tab and uncheck the "Hide known file extensions" box. Close Windows Explorer. Now, the true file name can be seen.

If you see FileName.jpg and "Hide known file extensions" is Checked, the real file name could be something like FileName.jpg.exe. The "DOT exe" part is hidden and that's why you got the error message.

"Double DOT extensions" are usually malware.

Try Firefox instead of IE, it may be the culprit if it's not your firewall.

First off, you are using a Packard Bell. They were banned from selling in the USA because they used old computer parts in their computers that were being sold as "brand new".
I thought you would want to know that...

...But to answer your question, It may be your firewall or Anti-Virus program. Just do it from work.
