ok if i click start and go into all programmes i cant right click to arrange by name or anything like that. also if i highlight my recent documents and try to right click on one of those items in order to delete it it wont work either

how serious is identity theft???

i have been releasing and posting my resume online, on websites (that either offer or recommend jobs) over the couple of months. then i suddenly realized how grave identity theft on the internet is.

now, i am a little bit scared since i already posted some basic information like my name, address, etc (although not credit cards and bank accounts).

how would you know that the website is safe?

i know that they may say things about privacy policies, but who knows what they do with it?

except for yahoo and gmail, i think there are only a couple more sites that have good privacy policies.

I've looked at past questions and many answers claim there is no spyware or viruses for Macs, but there is something seriously wrong with mine. At least there is something seriously wrong with the Internet capabilities. It takes forever to upload most websites and won't connect at all to certain sites (some e.gs are Livejournal, Chicagotribune, and the Apple website itself, so I can't even look there for help). Some other applications seem to be running slow as well. I know there is nothing wrong with the Internet connection itself. I tried clearing my brower's cache and that helped a little bit with downloading speed but I still can't connect to certain sites. And that has nothing to do with the sites; I was able to connect to them with a different computer. Any ideas? Anything is appreciated, thanks.

My computer has been giving me crap lately and I cant figure out what is wrong with it if you look at my previous question that mite explane better. But I can't figure out if a virus messed up my computer or what I think it mite be something in my bios because it wont come up nothing will, but I was wondering if maby my battery was dead because I took it out and it did the same thing it did when the battery was in there (nothing). Im looking for any help I can get. I just cant figure it out

I didn't think you could add to a CD-R disc? I had tested 1 file and it copied to the cd. I then wrote a new document and tried to copy to the cd and it copied. I thought once you used the cd you couldn't add to it?

I save info to Word on a weekly basis. Should I get CD R or CD RW discs?
