if u have any way to send a file larger then 1 gig instantly through mssg (with no hard device) please let me know?

Get WinRAR...and break the file down into parts...and send it one part at a time...you will be able to send it through any IM service that way...may take longer...but it was gonna take forever anyway.

The best way is for each of you to install GigaTribe (www.gigatribe.com). Then one of you invites the other into your private network. Then you mark the folder you want to share with your friend. Your friend then can download the whole folder, no matter how large its contents. It's pretty rad!

you can try to send it through Skype or through Google Talk. These may support such large files. I have never tried this before, so if you get it to work, let us know!

Most messengers are not the correct program to do Filetransfers of this size.
Try Azureus.
