every time I want to get into a website its takes to long and I have to rick click and select open like 4 times so it could be open. I have an XP compact computer and the oly problem is that. Internet Explorer works so slow on my cable conection. What can I do? I have already call the company and they say taht everything is running normal. Do You Think That My registrys are not workin well? because last time I down load this pogram called Regestry Cleaner and it reported me that there were problems on it. what can i do?

Recently, a laptop thief of a MacBook Pro was caught.

Basically what happens is that when the next time the computer gets on the Internet, it'll take a picture and send that picture to the Undercover company. This happens, of course, when the person calls in that the laptop is missing. When you buy the software, you get an ID that you can tell the company when your laptop goes missing.

Of course, the computer is subject to having the hard drive removed, but not many thieves are computer literate to realize that.

That's a saved MacBook Pro...

Obviously I didn't make my problem clear last question.

I have been playing this game RCT3 no problems with sound on my PC up until yesterday. Now when I load the game up my PC forgets it has speakers, it says there are no audio devices in control panel and volume control prgram does not work. No sound whatsoever anywhere.
As soon as I exit RCT3 however, my pc goes back to normal and speakers are back.
It is not a copyed game.
would just like some technical advice please

A company called Marble Lottery in Liverpool, England e-mail me to tell me that I have won 5 million pounds by random lottery draw. They ask some personal info about me, name, marital status, occupation, phone number, state, and valid id like passport.
They did not ask for my social or bank account number (which I wouldn't give them obviously)
I know that I havn't won this money but was wondering if anyone has heard of this scam or similar and can tell me what they are trying to achieve by telling me this and obtaining this information about me?

Here is the problem: My sound is working fine, speakers are there, volume control program is working, UNTIL I load Roller coadter tycoon 3.
Now suddenly the computer is acting like I don't have any speakers attached to my pc, it says I have no audio devices and when I load volume control it says there are no audio mixer devices attached to this computer blah blah. And obviously there is no sound. I exit RCT3 and it all goes back to normal the PC suddnely remembers the speakers and sound is fine again.
What the hell is going on?

When I turn it on it goes to the safe mode screen. When I click on last known good conguration or safe or any other one it keeps going back to that screen. I cant find my recovery disk so can i use a boot up disk or start up disk. I dont know what the difference is Help

I would like a laptop because of its mobilty and if the lights go off I can still use the computer, but they are expensive on what they offer and are hard to upgrade. I would like a desktop because they are customizable I could buy a pretty good desktop now and in the future upgrade it easily especially the video card which I most care off upgrading.

the web? They have somehow blocked the internet while I am working on the computer, but as soon as I log off from my work site I am able to access the internet again. How can I go around this to where I am able to do both at the same time rather than one or the other? HELP.
