Many things could be wrong. You might have a virus or you just might not have enough memory on your computer. I know when my memory got filled my computer would crash when i tried to start something.

Because IM is one of the biggest security threats a computer can have. It opens up a propriaty tunnel between a server and two computers or computer to computer. They are very easily used to attack another computer.
It could also be your firewall is blocking the appropriate protocols.

Maybe the gods are trying to get you to stay away fron the biggest and easy way for someone to send you a virus to disrupt your computer system. You might have got it already. Have fun. And hackers can get past a firewall now!!!

possibly not enough RAM. maybe that program has a virus associated with it. maybe your power supply is going bad and coincidentally you double click the IM icon right when ur system is about to turn off....

mine does that too and particularly when i'm talking to a certain person so I think maybe its got something to do with their PC....its a total nightmare!!!
