I have two nonk-working computer monitors and need to get rid of them. I don't know if I should put them out in the trash to be picked up. I don't know of any recycling center and the thrift stores will not take them.

Do not just throw them away, they are very hazardous to the environment (lead, mercury, etc.).

Don't put them in the trash or dump them on a thrift store. Call your local garbage service or visit your city's / county's website to find out what you need to do.

or if you own land out in the country, take them out there with one or all of the following, baseball bat, golf club, bb gun, 12 gague, or lots of fire works. you may want to put a tarp underneath the comp screens just for easy clean up, lol.

Either donate it to a local shop, or set it out on the curb.
