Not sure exactly how they are doing it, but you could try using separate browsers (IE/Firefox) for working and accessing the internet. It is an outside chance. You could also try using a proxy server.

So, the management has made it a policy to block Internet access, but, you really truly need to go there?

You have an addiction that will cost you the job!

But, you are independently wealthy, right?

You should get some help with that problem.

I'll wager that you're connecting to your company with a VPN. Most companies block "split tunneling" that would allow you to access the internet while the VPN was up. This is for security reasons. There's no way to change that behavior, it's controlled by the company. Using a different browser won't work.

I've done this before... Most companies that have multi computers dont have a login password for the admin, so put the name admin or administrator into the user name and press enter. If you get logged in, then VUALA!! FULL ACCESS.... and you can then change your user name to have admin access. I've done it before. Works like a charm!

You can't because it's in their policy which is pushed to all machines on your work's network. If you were somehow given admin rights then maybe...
