1) Had OS in three different partitions. Reformatted one but all three
still show as choices when booting. How do I eliminate the one
I reformatted.

2) When booting, the top OS is started unless I am present to
choose another. Is there a way to preselect a default OS?

gives an option of print preview and page set up. I frequently only want to print part of an e-mail. I want the display at the top to be the normal File edit etc with the drop down choices. How do I get this back.

My computer is freezing. When it's not it takes like forever to work. I have run all my spyware and antivirus in safe mode, did a disk check, disk clean up and defrag.

I hit right click and it does not give me the normal screen it gives me open, print, edit, preview, send to and open with how do I delete it. I am not familiar with dos and couldn't get it to work.
it had:
c:/documents and settings/my name>
and when I typed in my music or my documents it said that was not a valid internal or external command so I hit DIR and saw my documents but how do I get to it to delete the file that is in My Music. I downloaded something off of Limewire and need to get rid of it.

I've read that there's no difference; it's just a marketing ploy. Personally, since we're dealing with 1's and 0's, logically I don't see what difference there could be.

I have enabled my windows update to automatic.......but I want to know if my system actually updates.....are the updates being downloaded promptly……I know it updates in the background……..but where can I find the downloaded updates files information in my system….and one more thing…how often does windows update???????

Where can i get any version of Windows,no need for M.S Works or M.S Office as i have the discs, all i need is the basic Windows either Pro or 2003. I have messed up bigtime and deleted a few Windows Main Programmes and i have no discs at all.

I got a Netgear Router at home, sharing the DSL high speed internet connection with 2 other PCs. So 3 Pc s are sharing the connection. When playing On line games such as, Call of Duty or BF2, it is unplayable because the Packets are split and the connection slows down from 1 or 3 mbs to perhaps 128kps, Is there a Booster that can prevent that from happening?
