How do I eliminate the box that appears at the bottom of the page every time I fill out a form I use FireFox?

This is the find-as-you-type search box opening up. This could be because you are typing outside of a form. However, it is also a known bug in Firefox. Sometimes no matter where you type the box comes up. If this is the case the only way to fix it is to close Firefox and restart it.

That might be your search box popping up. If you start typing without being in a textbox, it will begin finding things that start with whatever you are typing.
