is there a site that will make so that i apear online and show an away message? and i can come back and check on it to see if anyone has replied??

If you're referring to your home e-mail, you can log onto your service provider's site and set an automated response. Then when you turn your computer on, all the messages you receive will have gotten that automated message.
If you're referring to Yahoo! or Hotmail, then no. They will show you as off line but will hold your messages or IM's for when you log on.

u can use msn messenger or yahoo messenger. these messengers allow offline messages.
