I can't run some programs because my Virtual Memory is lacking space. How do I clean it out and exactly what is deleted. (Any files or important information??) Thanks (:

Why can I not open them? and how can I do that. I performed a search to try to find something I can open it with but it said the file cannot be found. For example there are msnger cache files, what will be in them?! Thanks!

Is BIt Torrent Illegal to use?

Like My uncle has told me, Lime wire is free file sharing peer to peer program and dowloading anything from it is illegal.
He said you use Limewire, You are agreeing with them in contract and when You download something from Limewire, virus and spyware files come in to your system.

So how about BIt Torrent?

I recently formatted my pc and i had windows XP home edition on it. I installed Windows XP media center editition and everytime i boot the system it still gives me a choice of OS.. either home or media center. I don't know how to get rid of this menu. Any help would be greatly appreciated.Thank you

my friend went to a gig and recorded some sound clips. he sent them to me because i can put things off my phone onto my computor...

the problem is, they are on my computor but i cant play them because it 'does not support the selected file'

it says they are AMR files.

is there any way of changing them??

ive tried playing it on windows media player and iTunes.

i think ive heard of something you can download to translate it into a playable file [or whatever]

i might have imagined it though!

if i didnt imagine it, does anyone know what its called??

or where i can get/download one???

My computer won't let me defrag or cleanup disk. Also when I go to install and uninstall programs, none of my programs show up. My Norton Virus won't scan, it says can not connect to the internet, which I can get on line? Do I have a virus or is there something totally wrong with my computer?

My computer is 7 years old and is office XP. My husband says it is my Sims 2 and the expansion packs that is doing this to my computer. What do yiu recommend I do?

i have a bunch of anime DVDs i wanna get on my computer to make AMVs with but i don't know how to save it let alone save it as an AVI file so i can use it on Windows Movie Maker.

I am trying to send out a bulk mail from my outlook express email, which I have never done before. I have about 1600 email addresses from an organization I am part of and I am trying to send it to everyone on the contact list. I have been putting 50 in at a time and got threw the first 400 and now I am getting an error message which I don't undestand (it is at my home computer and I am at work so I can not remember the exact wording).
Is there limits to how many emails you can send? Is there anyway around this? I have multiple email addresses set up within outlook express but it will not even allow me to send from my other address.

im from the uk, its my nephews birthday in a few weeks, he lives in chicago (USA) i want to send him some toys for his birthday over the internet. the problem i am having is if i order from our toy shops, they dont deliver to the usa and if i go onto an american site they do not accept my debit/credit cards. so i am asking if anyone knows a site that i can order bits and bobs from that will deliver to the states or will accept my cards???? (ps, i dont want to buy something over and post it, it costs a complete fortune!)

I bought my computer 2 months ago and it is a amd athlon running on xp home,i normally dont have problems with file to load up quickly,but one day after a specific infection which i used an antispyware to get rid of it,my computer became slow,i downloaded a trial of mem optimizer and is showng me that ihave 13 mb of ram...EVEN on a normal startup,with no antivirus or other processes running,im qurious on why is it that a 256mb ram can go as low as 13mb juz cause of a late startup,and no additional processes hat isnt neccesary...plaease help

I decided to download the 30 day trial of Norton from Yahoo on Friday. Well, I downloaded it, ran it and it found one virus. I got rid of the virus, and now my computer is acting insane! Well, the browsers are being insane. I took Norton off and put McAfee back on, but my browsers, both IE 7 and Firefox 2 don't show pictures on webpages. I have checked all settings (have allowed pics) and I am not sure what to do next besides throwing it out the nearest window. Can anyone help???
