By fulling it by some important data or songs..... It is only possible when u have a writer in Ur system and while writing the C.D computer gives u some options they r multosession(sorry i don't know the correct name but i know the meaning) means u can use the empty space for adding something else in future 2ND option is single session where further right able is not possible even if blank space is left. First oof all you will have to ensure that you have used a CD burning software for writing a cd, if you have used Windows CD burning Utility the left over space cannot be used.

However if you have used software like Nero, and have not Finalized the cd, you still have the option to rewrite the data on the CD (only available for Data CD, Video CD or Songs CD does not support this feature).

Just insert the CD and if it is not finalized NERO will you give to option to continue the Multisession disk.

You can use the blank space on the CD provided that you used "Multi-session" option while first writing data onto the disc. If this is not the case, Then I'm afraid that you cannot use the free space. This especially true if you had used the "Disc-to-Disc" copy option. In the future, if you'd like to write to your disc multiple times, ensure that the you enable multi-session option.

Firstly, you have to check whether that CD is RW(rewritable) or R ( recordable). If it's RW, you can still use the remaining space by formating the CD and Recopy files that will fill up the space. But if it's R, You can never use the remaining space again. And you can not even format it.

sure u may use the remaining space on CD recordable..
If u want to record again u have to check multisession option while writing on NERO. or else if u use Windows XP writing just copy the files on to the CD and write it... You may write as much times as u like but upto the capacity of CD.
