Is BIt Torrent Illegal to use?
Like My uncle has told me, Lime wire is free file sharing peer to peer program and dowloading anything from it is illegal.
He said you use Limewire, You are agreeing with them in contract and when You download something from Limewire, virus and spyware files come in to your system.
So how about BIt Torrent?

Bit torrrent or Limewire all are same. They allow people to share files among them. As such there use is not illegal but if using them to copy a movie or song from other's person pc, then it is piracy which is illegal. (When u download through a torrent then u actually download from other people's PC)

II think it is illegal if you are downloading something that is copyright. I don't think it's how you download it's what you download. My son used to download using Torrent. He got a warning from AOL when he tried to download something that was copyright.

LimeWire itself it NOT illegal. You can download perfectly legal things from it. Bittorrent is the same way, you can get many legal things from it, but there is also lots of illegal stuff too. OpenOffice is a free Office suite like Microsoft Office...you can download it from their site, or you can download it from Peer-2-Peer networks like LimeWire and you can also download it from Bittorrent...perfectly legal!

its the same thing as limewire but torrents are safer than limewire...ive tried downloading applications on torrents and it really works...

bit torrent is illegal too, they are 2 different programs but they both use a similur method of obtaining files. either way you are getting your files from another person's computer
