I was told you can view RM movies via Real Player, but when I try it says I don't have the right codecs.

Any help would be greatly appreciated. Please bare in mind I'm a complete noob at this.

when you go to the temorary internet flies part i know its okay to "delete files" but would it be okay to "delete cookies". im no computer genius, i dont want to mess up my computer. will the "delete cookies" option free up computer memory?

Every time I try to go on the computer, it stays on for about 10-15 minutes, then it says logging off and shuts down. I check for spyware, but none found. After it automaticaly shuts down about 2 times, I try to turn it on, but it wont start. The light with the picture of a battery under it on the front of the processor isn't lighting up anymore. I have a Compaq Presario 6000. How can I fix this problem?

An earlier questions I had was : Why is my computer slow?? Thanks for the answers people. Apparantly My computer (HP pavillion dv1000) doesn't have enough RAM it takes about 512mb to operate windows XP properly. IS THIS SOME KIND OF A JOKE !!!! 480MB!! Using RecordNow! it goes thru the burn process but at the end when it appears it's done, it says it cant find the files. I know they are there, I can pull them up. The program worked a week or two ago. I burned 2 cd's then (file/picture cds)

This all started when I tried to dl the newest version of Internet Explorer, it corrupted my files!!! Now I cant find my wireless internet connection (any help on that would be MUCH APPRECIATED) My norton antivirus went down and spysweeper also. I am trying to backup all of my files, but I cant if I cant get them on a disk!!!
