I doubt it. Most states don't allow children under the age of 15 to legally get a job. However, a lot of kids wind up getting private jobs (such as mowing grass) that aren't reported. Perhaps this kid could find a private business owner that could use some extra typing help and just be paid in cash instead of getting a check.

No, its illegal for anyone under the age of 15 to work in the US. Other places, I'm not sure, but I would guess it is the same. Child labor laws.
If you or your friend know someone that has their own business and is looking for help with some extra stuff, then you could probably do it that way, but not on the books or legally.

Gosh, I didn't know there were any more typing jobs. Most everyone uses the computers nowadays.
