Every time I try to go on the computer, it stays on for about 10-15 minutes, then it says logging off and shuts down. I check for spyware, but none found. After it automaticaly shuts down about 2 times, I try to turn it on, but it wont start. The light with the picture of a battery under it on the front of the processor isn't lighting up anymore. I have a Compaq Presario 6000. How can I fix this problem?

ok, right click on my computer ( right clicking brings up a menu) select properties from the bottom of the menu, then select "tools" tab. once you do this select the first option to check disk or scan disk. you will be prompted to restart your computer. do so, then allow the scan to run on the restart -- it will happen before your computer logs onto windows. this will tell you if your hard drive is failing or not. and also make sure to check the boxes to correct any errors found (check them both). any other trouble give the experts at yto.ca a call. they can help you, its a paid tech support service
