I've been sitting on my screen porch, but was wondering as the temps get into the major triple digits 105-111 F (40c+) how hot is too hot?

It's not really a good idea to use a laptop outside when it is so hot. I don't ever use my laptop outside, no matter what the temperature is.

Well dang it sista, a good rule of thumb is... if it's too hot for you, it's too hot for your laptop! Use that cooler of yours (the laptop cooler fans) and when you're done put it back inside the house.
:) Peace honey!

As long as you computer behaves normally, you're fine.
My desktop computer reboots often. That's how I know it's too hot. I then let it cool off.
