1. Go to Control Panel, double click on "Regional and Language Options".
2. In the window that opens up (on the Regional Options tab), click on the customize button.
3. Another window will pop up... go to the 'Time' tab in this window.
4. From the Time Format drop down, select the h:mm:ss:tt instead of HH:mm:ss
5. Click ok on both the open (pop up) windows and voila!!!

Change your language to English (United States).

Or click customize next to language setting, and click Time tab and change the setting.

Go to control panel and select "Regional and Language Options" and click the "Customize" button. The select the "Time" tab. Drop down the time format box and select "H:MM:SS" and apply it. There you go...
