How do I find out if I have Internet Explorer 6 or 5.5, etc on my Gateway Computer.

go to tools option interent then security u should see interent tap into that to see there are many ways but for you do that..

Click on the 'Help' tab that is in the top lefthand corner of Internet Explorer (it's the tab next to 'Tools'). Then click on 'About Internet Explorer'. You will see the smaller font where is says 'version ...' with a number next to it. That's what version you are running.

paste this in your address bar C:\Program Files\Internet Explorer then right click the Internet explorer icon and go to properties.
Then click the version tab. There ya go!!

up top where theres file, edit, view...etc hit help and then About.
