Printers

I am having consistant top cover jams, it happens every time i try to print something. it seems to get stuck under the toner cartridge everytime. i checked the roller, and it seems fine. I don't think its a sensor, but i could be wrong. this is the first time i've attempted to fix a printer. any suggestions?

If I use a brand-new photo cartridge and then take it out of my Lexmark P4330 Printer for a few weeks it doesn't work properly again, although I keep it in the cartridge storage unit provided. It is costing me a fortune. Can anyone help?

my epson stylus cx3200 has told me to contact an engineer i am sure this is just amanufactures way of obsolescence as is is used quite a lot i think not sure after so many prints it automatically locks the printer up so you would need an engineer is there a fix or a hidden switch to reactivate the printer

I want to use it for kopykake printing and need toknow if it needs to be flushed out, apparantly it has normal ink put through it in the factory to test that it works is this true/ or is it safe to use with my edible inks straight away?

My business is switching over to printing out our own labels for about 50 packages per day. We heard that thermal printers are the cheapest long run, but we know just about nothing about thermal printers.

Could somebody explain the economics of thermal printers for printing shipping labels with postage vs inkjets and laser?

I seem to remember one company sendinding me back confirmation of reciept that included the question I asked. Some companies don't even send confirmation. I usually make a printout, but if printer is not working... This is for companies that only use webform for email.

presently iam using 2 printers one of epson & other of hp. the epson one does not gives me satisfied printing quality but the hp does give that but the problem is the ink cartridges goes out of ink within , yes within one week.& again i have to spend Rs 900-1000 to get a new one & the same old story repeats.now i have decided to buy a new printer that can give me superior quality printing, ink cartridges should last a little bit atleast 1 month that could save my pocket.& its good that if it does do the printing at a pretty fast rate without disturbimg the quality of the printing. Suggest me what ichoose to buy , from which company or should iuse the old printers only with some modification? plz. what ever you recomend give the full details of it , the benifits , the draw backs or atleast give me the official site of that? mind it i am daily user of high quality colour printing & printer so if the recomded printer gets damaged or needs a repair i must get the authorised service too?

Anyone technical out there? My printer keeps reporting that it is jammed, even though it actually isn't. I did email Kyocera but they weren't exactly helpful. The printer is clean, as are the trays, and it has a relatively low page count. When I send a document to it, it starts ok but fails to pick up a sheet of paper from the upper tray and then reports a jam.

Please help - it's driving me mad.

I have an HP 4650 that's out of warranty. Whenever I print a black and white page the text fades out the closer that it gets to the right hand side of the page, right up until it vanishes all together. However whenever I print color this does not happen. Even if there is only a little bit of color on the page the print out is perfect.

My toners are all full, my imaging drum is at about 90% but my developer is at about 10%. I have also checked the distribution of ink inside the toner cartridge and they are all OK. The diagnostic prints are all perfect.

What could be wrong? I'm certain that it's a hardware problem but a not certain where it stems from.

Have got HP3100 running fine on my parallel laptop with windows me.
Now the problem is , i have upgraded to Windows XP laptop but with only usb ports.
I have bought a usb to cable which connects to standard cabble of the printer. (the cable has a usb port and a female parallel on the other)

My windows xp do detect the printer and attempts to install it, even i have installed the jetsuite already. during that new hardware installation it ask for the file which are on the c, on providing those files, it continue for some instants and end up saying the "operation has some errors and cannot continue" i also tried to print off by jetsuite, but doesnot help either.
I have tried to change ports one by one and still did not work. I did bought a USB docking for parallel port, which comes to the same point and gives up.
Please suggest, what should i do, to work with my window xp by usb cable.
is there are any usb cable driver available form hp or somewhere which helps to run the printer

I have all my ink cartrages full including my blackink,and it's the only one that doesn't work(the black ink).So what should I do?

i have an hp computer and my scanner, printer, copier wont install properly let alone work anymore. the printer is an hp psc 2110xi all-in-one. i have uninstalled it and reinstalled it many time sand it wont work anymore. it worked just fine when i first got it but about 1 year later, it stopped working.

can someone help me figure out why it wont install anymore please? nothing works on it, only the power button, but none of its functions.

best buy and all those other computer places cant help and i wont buy another one so no one suggest that, thats not what i need.

This morning i went to print a document from my email and when i turned on the printer, it had an error message asking me to insert the right cartridge. when i opened up the printer, it made a loud screeching noise while it moved to the left. i noticed that the right cartridge plastic holder was missing! (im talking about the thing you press down on to secure your cartridge)

This is really confusing to me because the last time i changed that specific cartridge was a couple months ago! It was printing fine yesterday. I have no idea why it suddenly snapped. I don't even know where the plastic holder is! I only see small snapped pieces of plastic

We had a virus on our computer and sent it off to have everything taken off. Now when we try to re-install the printer it can't find it. we have tried the HP website for downloads but can't find the right one. Thought we did but it downloaded in polish so we were'nt sure what it said?! Can anyone help us please?

We are using an Epson CX3700 Inkjet Printer. We spend upto 30$ a day on ink alone.
We have tried Chines inks and Korean and they were useless.
How can we save on our printing cost. We need to have an inhouse printer, cause we change design of our products often.
Has any one any experience with desktop Laser Printers?
I have seen them for around 5-600$ at Carrefore. Do you know if the ink in Laser Printers works out to be cheaper per page or more expensive??

i forgot to say that my Brother gave me the conputor and he
had the same printer on it all ready does that matter,I used the
cd that he gave me for the printer I followed the instructions
