Did you install by plugging in in and HOPING windows will work OK, or
Did you follow the supplied instructions, use the supplied CD and install the full driver set, connecting the printer ONLY when asked ?
If U did the first, now try the 2nd option
If you did the second option, try it again, if it still don't work, call the manufacturers support line, as that's WHAT IT IS FOR !

1) Go to your printers and make sure the new one is set as Default printer. You can right click on it and set as default.
2) Go to Microsoft Update and see if there are any updates.
3) Check for updates in your help and support program you installed with printer.
4) If all else fails, make sure you took the little strips of tape off your cartridges before installing them......;)
