Printers

I have a newer laptop with Win XP and I'm wondering if I can connect an older printer that uses a parallel port cable to it. The laptop does not have a parallel port and the printer doesn't have a USB port. Is there any way to connect the two using some sort of adapter, etc? Thanks in advance!!

Also how expensive might the toner be and replacing the drum? (just provide estimates, no need to be exactly accurate)

Hello! Right, I've just bought a NEW Epson Photo RX640 - And, like.. Where the heck do I conect it to the computer. I'm clever on computers, but lol.. I'm stumped.. There's a plug socket, a front USB slot, from Flash Drive's etc.. But not for Printer USB. Um, also there's a wire going from the lid to the printer, and it tells me, that thats it.. ok ive seen some ppl do this that they get tthis scanner and then they get a picture then scan the picture and the picture appears in your pictures files i want to know if i can do that with an HP deskjet F 380- all in one if not then i want to know wat printer can do thatas long as its an HP and can i get the price and the model # plz i hope someone knows wat im talkin about

I sent a document to print to a non-working printer, then closed (without saving) the document, I do have a working printer also attached to my pc - but vista really is playing up - so i havnt got this document saved anywhere. all it is is that it shows up when i request to see the files on queue to print! It was a really long and important document - tht i shouldve saved but didnt!!!! badly need help asap! sum1 pls!!!!!!

Does anyone have any suggestions on what type of printer I should buy to print my custom wedding invitations? I am having trouble finding a color printer that will take various media sizes (ie: not 8 1/2 x 11, legal or 11x17). I'd appreciate any thoughts/suggestions!

I am trying to print a picture (in black and white) and when I print it to a certain printer it leaves a ghost image of the pic. But when I had about 5 other people print the same picture from their computers but to the same printer, they all got different results. All had the ghost image but in diffferent shades. some were darker then others and some were lighter. Please Help

My minolta pagepro 1350w printer does not feed paper. There is an arm that is supposed to lift the paper does not lift the paper. How can I fix the problem? Thanks a lot!
