Learn from your experience, next time SAVE IT !

Once it's sent to aprint queue it is NOT a data file, it's a print job, this is a qhole different type of data, especially if it's an inkjet queue. IF and ONLY if it was a postscript printer, and you could find a way to intercent the queue and save the job to a PS file, you could in theory open the PS file to get the data bak to edit it, but that's VERY unlikely.

It relies upon on the printer. It sounds to me like it desires a under pressure out connection. A (much less costly) way around this may well be to apply a USB penchronic. save the rfile from the laptop onto the penchronic (plugged right into a USB port on the laptop) and then unplug it from the laptop plug it right into a USB port on the main laptop and open and then print the rfile from there. this might purely paintings in case you have an identical application on the two computers one to save the report interior the 1st place and the different to open it and then to print from. to illustrate if it exchange right into a be conscious .rfile report, you could need be conscious on the two machines or if it exchange into an Excel .xls report then you definately will need Excel on the two machines.
