without the disc i need help...

Is there any reason I cannot use my CANON ink refill pack on an HP Printer? I have about $5 dollars worth of refill ink that I inject inot my old Canon printer ink cartiges. My Canon printer died. I have a new HP.
Already out of ink on th HP and am thinking of injecting the Canon ink?
Any major reason why I cannot do this?

It makes all the right noises as if it's printing, and the computer says the black and white and colour cartriges are full however no image comes out. Do you know why? And can it be rectified? thank you

I just bought this cheap HP officejet from my neighbor but he didn't have the cd, so i went to hp.com and found a driver but they take too long to download (dialup user) and i don't want to order the cd from hp.com.

I noticed if you plug in the usb cable to the computer it says that my printer has been found but i can't install it. It also lists other officejet printers but mine isn't there.

I have a HP 1210 printer,scanner,copier, and it scans and copies, but will not print from word, or anywhere. I have replaced the cable, re-installed the drivers, turned it on and off, etc, but my printer will change to offline after I send it a print job. What else can I try?

okay, I got a HP Officejet 5610 All-In-One. I got 3 laptops. The 1 laptop is already out of the game park. Were not going to use this laptop for the printer.
We got 2 more laptops.
#1 and #2. #1 is mine, and #2 is like a sharing laptop for the whole family.
We both wanna go wireless, but #2, cant go wireless as much, so it might stay where it is, on the desk.I have the printer hooked up on #1. I want to share this printer with the 2 other computers. The owner of #1(me) wants to scan pictures and put it on my laptop. I really want this all-in-one on #2, but How would I scan pictures and documents and still get them to my computer without #1?? I heard of this software, but I never downloaded it. I don't think it is possible, but some way may be possible.
Anyone got any advice?

Want to print up to A3 on variety of materials from vellum to textured card stock 300g/m2 +. Text and graphic quality is very important but does not have to be photo quality.As its a start up business budget tight around £500 or $1000, cost per page and consumables cost should be a consideration as a there is a limit to the amount I can recoup from customers.
Straight through feed important to avoid curling. Not sure whether to use laser or inkjet.
Laser text quality, speed and water resistance appeals but not sure about the quality of graphics or ability to print on textured paper. Toner, drum and servicing costs are also a concern.
Inkjet image quality appears good but appears to be for photo images which I feel may be excessive also unsure about smudging and text and graphics quality. Consumable cost a concern but I am willing to consider constant ink system.
Considered solid ink but unsure of ink wastage when i turn off/on or leaving on standby to keep ink warm as may not use daily

This is what I have always wanted to know.

How are we able to control a printer in another computer over the phone? This is to say, the 2 PCs are connected by phone. How can we send a document, eg, a Word Docment, over the phone to the other PC and have it printed by the printer the other side?

Of course all these are done legally and with the permission of the printer's owner.

Epson CX3900 Printer will not print without horizontal banding yet has no problem photocopying.

I've seen some ads of Epson and HP I think. They advertise to get only original ink cartridges to replace empty ones and not settle for refills because they harm the printer. Is it true? Or is it just another marketing strategy?

i have a dell photo AIO 922 and it is not really printing well.. i have had it sitting in my cellar for about a year or so, but it was really never used so the ink things are full.... blue and yellow print ok, but red ( or magenta ) and mainly black dont really print at all...
i have gone thru the setting and stuff and i dont know what it is,....whether the ink went dry or not... i tried cleaning the printer head...but is that the thing under/on the ink cartridge... i followed instructions from a few sites like cleaning it with a wet cue-tip....
but idk, PLEASE HELP ME!

My inkjet has been working just fine and dandy for more than a year. Now its printing horizontal streaks through the entire document. I just changed both cartridges (black and CMYK) so the problem isn't lack of ink. Suggestions?
