I just bought this cheap HP officejet from my neighbor but he didn't have the cd, so i went to hp.com and found a driver but they take too long to download (dialup user) and i don't want to order the cd from hp.com.
I noticed if you plug in the usb cable to the computer it says that my printer has been found but i can't install it. It also lists other officejet printers but mine isn't there.

If Windows couldn't find a driver for it, you have no choice but to spend the time to download it from HP or order the CD.
It's a DeskJet... the driver shouldn't be THAT big of a download file.

go to the hp web site and search that modle in the search bar and one of the results will be the drivers, just down load them off the hp web site. there will be 2 different driver options one is a full driver option that will take along time to download the other is a small basic one that will be quick and the difference is just some photo editing software most of the time.

You may be able to find just the driver elsewhere, just try a google search for "Officejet D135 driver"

Yep, you'll need to download the driver. You could do it at a computer with a faster connection, burn a disk and instill it on the dial-up-connection-computer.

a suggestion,before you got to bed go and download the driver.you wont loose any down time as far as the download goes.
