Why? Have you tried the add new hardware tool through the control panel and then check whether your pc can actually detect there is a printer connected?...once it has found it...you will have to download the relevant software/driver for the printer. This can be done on the manufacturer's website...free to download. Hope that helps!

Why not..? If You cant install it from the CD you have then you can download them from internet by visiting the manufacturer's website.

as you have a printer cd . in that printer cd it has drivers . first uninstall the last drivers . then start a full fresh installation . my computer -rightclick-manage-devicemanager-other devices - install .
