Try searching for a setting which is there in the settings. If you don't get it, try re-installing the drivers. If it still doesn't work out, then buy new Compatible ones from http://www.Ask4ink.com
I'm sure they'll work as I've been using them from half a year.

you can try tapping part of the contacts on the cartige and inserting them so the computer resets it, it eventually will start working like that
or...
go for new cartigas

There is, in the manual, a step you can perform to disable that feature. Look it up.
