Usually, at least it has been my experience, when installaton is complete, we are asked if we want to register. I usually do it right away.

If the printer is installed, and you were not asked to register, click Start, Programs, and look for the printer. There should be a right arrow pointing to "User Guide," etc. and there might be an option to register.

Additionally, printers sometimes come with a registration card which you can complete by hand and mail in.

Failing all that, contact the manufacturer's website.
