is it possible to get my empty ink cartridges refilled or do i have to buy new ones.
i have been looking on eBay and noticed that you can buy empty ones

Don't go for the universal refill kit. They are a farce. All ink is not created equal and one kind isn't going to fill them all. If inks were universal, I wouldn't bother carrying over 95 kinds in my shop.

Have them refilled. Any refiller worth their weight in hand-cleaner knows that those two particular cartridges can be safely refilled to almost 5X their original capacity (the space is there, HP just doesn't fill them all the way.)

Don't buy empties online either. You don't know how long they've been sitting around. The longer they've been sitting, the less likely the chance that the refill will be successful.

I have "fixed" many printers customers screwed up with refilled cartridges. Buy new ones, it's not worth the trouble.

Go to TESCO. I have a HP 1215 and got their own brand
it works fine. I paid just uder £10.

you can refill it yourself with a universal refill kit from walmart or take it to Walgreen's to be refilled
