Where can I donate my used printer?

I have a printer that is slightly malfunctioning and was wandering where can I take to give it away? I don't want to spend time and money on fixing it.
I live in DC area.

Depending on the condition of the printer and the degree of the problem - I suggest donating it to a local school, if they are willing to fix it.

(Education funding is in the dumps, at least in Illinois.)

Great idea donate it to someplace, because that's what everyone wants....some else's broken POS printer.
