Add-ons - March 2007

My family owns a Dell Dimension 2400 and it has one more slot available for RAM. It currently holds 512MB but I would like to add a 1GB of Ram to make it run faster. Is there a limit as to how much I can place inside of the pc?

The emachine wiring is totally different than the HP. I think I might need a jumper to get started. Could someone help me with this and what I need to complete this project. My power supply went out on the HP and its old so I could not transfer my info from the HP hard drive to the new one. Anyu info would be greatly appreciated! Thanks!

I just bought a Phillips webcamera, (SIC4700/37) if that's the code or whatever it is.
How do I install it,it came with a cd,and I read thje instructions,but I'm still at lost...... I'm not too good at stuff like that... How do I know when my cam. is on and off?
Do I have to install the camera with the cd for every time I'm gonna use it. Please teach me step by step. THANKS FROM,CLUELESS:)

When I run Second Life it is very slow. I have a Pentium Duo 2.66 GHz with 960 MB of Ram. My roomates cheap Inspiron laptop runs it much better. Does my graphic card suck or is it another problem. Both computers are on the same wireless network - my computer is LAN wired to the router.

Note: The maximum speed of my DVD-RAM/CD drive (for reading/writing) is 24x.
And I just wanna know whether it's safe to burn a 52x CD-RW by using it.

It's the black box with 2 antenas and the front part is blue. it has a sticker that says: Wireless- G 2.4 HGz
broadband router 54mbps

I did everything perfect, but when I conect to the internet I get a message telling me it failed to conect to the internet and I should try turning the modem box OFF and ON. That doesn't help!!!

My computer shuted down casue it needed a windows update.
they updated it but everything erased including the sound.
no sound from n e where comes out from the computer
do any one now a soft ware or something?

Well i got this card a while ago and installed it and it worked fine. It is a geforce 7300 GT 256MB pci . A ehile later i had to reinstall windows and so i could play games and do every thing fine without installing the card. But when i want to play movies the picture doesn't show. So i tried to install the card properly and it still cant show the video. When i restart my pc it says some thing like "XFX SETUP NOT FOUND"
