Go to the bottom right corner ( by the "Time" display) , and click the little speaker icon.... a slide volume control will appear. Put it at half way.

Maybe that will fix the problem

If That don't work , double-click the speaker icon, and a whole control pad will appear . Then slide ALL VOLUME CONTROLS to the half-way point .

first, make sure your speakers are hooked up,
second, make sure your device drivers for your sound card are installed

do this by right clicking my computer and going to properties, go to the hardware tab, then device manager.

third, make sure your not on mute.

hope this helped
