How do i identify between PCI or AGP.? ports for Video

The first post is correct, the second one is wrong. AGP is usually brown, and is usually the first slot from top to bottom. PCI slots are usually white, and your motherboard will typically have 2-5 of them. Some budget motherboards don't have an AGP slot so it's possible you only have PCI slots.

PCIe, mentioned by the second post, is completely different. It is a newer slot for video cards and is typically black. You will usually not have PCIe and AGP on the same board. It's one or the other.

Mine is Orange (the AGP) and it is shorter...anyways you will only have 1 AGP slot and probably 4 or 5 PCI.

PCI are white, AGP is brown and usually only 1 per motherboard above the white PCI slots.

AGP is generally short and brown. The PCIe is usually white and long.

Regarding to Taskr,

PCIe are not really all black. I seen the slot in Blue and Orange color.

My motherboard PCIe slot is blue.
