TigerDIrect, great prices on pc's and components but I don't know if they deliver to UK, there is a number to call but I thought I'd rather see if anyone had had experience ordering from them and how they rate them. Cheers!

I have a geforce 6200(128mb) in my second machine and its not a bad card, but i have seen a bargain in the shape of a H.I.S radeon x1300 with iceq cooling
is this x1300(256mb) better in the shape of core and memory clock speeds and pixel pipelines,i know the ram is better but basically is it worth getting this card to replace the 6200
i was going to replace my 6600gt on my main p.c but was advised aginst it by the answers community, however i have done a deal with a mate for his 2nd hand geforce 7900gt,which will blast my 6600 into submission
is it worth replacing the 6200 for the x1300?
cheers!

I am still looking for a Digital Terrestrial Television tuner card. It has to have either a PCI 2.3 or PCI Express x1 interface, as these are the only free expansion slots I have. A remote control is not essential. However, if possible, I do not need it to also recieve analogue signals, as I am in a digital area. I also do not need it to recieve radio: if I want to listen to the radio while I use my computer, I will switch my radio on.

I have a LG GWA-4161B dvd burner and it allows me to change the dvd region code 4 times.

http://www.bizrate.com/cd_dvddrives/lg-gwa-4161b-dvd-rw-drive--pid326733016/compareprices__kw--gwa-4161b__mkt_id--31054044__qcid--3598812030313.html

Is there a way to allow it to be region free all the time? What happens if I remove the hardware and plug it back in? Would that reset the 4 change limit?

I've already looked for firmware upgrades.

A friend of mine bought a USB SD/MMC card reader from Ebay, a Hong Kong seller!! He's trying to use this on a machine running windows 98 but has not got a driver for it. The card reader is not branded so do not know who the manufacturer is. Is there a generic driver that will run the reader under windows 98?

My motherboard has 4 slots for DDR and 2 slots for DDR2. I have one dual channel kit 2X512MB. I want to buy another 1GB of RAM memory. Shall I get DDR, or sell my dual channel kit and buy 2GB DDR2? I know DDR2 is better, so what should I do?

I've got a MX1000 mouse by Logitech, that's been used for about 2 years. The mouse still works great, however, the battery life now is terrible. Are mice supposed to have a replaceable battery or is the only way to fix it is to buy a new mouse (which I don't want to do). If the batteries are supposed to be replaced - what battery do I need, or is there a website where I can find information on it (excluding google)?
Please refrain from answers that basically mean 'ask someone else', eg repair technician, internet or someone/something else.
Thank you for your time.
