I have a geforce 6200(128mb) in my second machine and its not a bad card, but i have seen a bargain in the shape of a H.I.S radeon x1300 with iceq cooling
is this x1300(256mb) better in the shape of core and memory clock speeds and pixel pipelines,i know the ram is better but basically is it worth getting this card to replace the 6200
i was going to replace my 6600gt on my main p.c but was advised aginst it by the answers community, however i have done a deal with a mate for his 2nd hand geforce 7900gt,which will blast my 6600 into submission
is it worth replacing the 6200 for the x1300?
cheers!

"So, calling Radeon X1300 Pro as an entry-level chip isn’t fair. It is clearly a low mid-range chip for users that want an entry-level VGA but can’t stand the low performance of a GeForce 6200 or of a Radeon X300".

I wouldn't bother. Sure the extra memory would help if either of those cards were powerful enough to take advantage of it.

You would see a slight increase in some circumstances but not worth the price of replacing.

Just use the 6600 that you have replaced instead of the 6200.

they are the two large taking part in cards, they are just about comparable. I truthfully have for my area used the two companies without subjects. what variety of purposes you're working allow you to appreciate in case you're able to purchase 256 or possibly some thing beefier like 512. i could propose checking in case you have a PCI exhibit slot to apply because it has a tendency to offer greater effective consequences than AGP.
