Hey guys,

I'm having trouble overclocking my E6600 from 1066 fsb to 1333fsb.

Specs:
Intel C2D E6600@2.4Ghz
2x1024OCZ 800MHZ CL4 DDR2
Gigabyte GA-965P-DS3 (Rev3.3)

I only want to overclock the FSB, so I up the cpu fsb to 333 and the multiplier to 7 because I want to keep the same speed.
then the computer restarts etc.. but it will only save the multiplier!!! So I was running 7x266 instead of 7x333!!!

why does this happen?

Is it just me? I'm fit and healthy, but I've noticed that when I sit with my laptop propped up on my legs or on my stomache, I get little niggles inside, best way to describe it is kind of adrenalin rush, combined with a bit of discomfort, kind of butterfly effect. It definitely only happens when I use the laptop. Is it possible that any nasties are transmitted thro from the bottom of the laptop, or am I imagining things!

My system has Nvidia Nforce XFX 650i Ultra mother board installed with 4GB Memory 800Mhz (1GBx4Nos). Bios shows the full 4GB Memory but in Windows Xp Proff 32Bit it shows only 2GB. what should be the issue.

**And if it is in fact cheaper to print your own, would it be worth my time to purchase a quality printer? (I'm operating under the assumption that a standard inkjet personal printer does not have the capacity to print out professional quality wedding invitations.)
So if this is the case, would you also be able to recommend a printer that would be capable of printing out my own invitations with that level of quality?

Hello:
I live in Canada, and with the currency rate at 1 to 1, I'm going to go to the states and get computer parts, because its cheaper there.

here is my question, i need tips on how to transport the parts back, does plane allow carryons for computer boards and such? how should i wrap the components, and such. any suggestions would help.

i'm thinking of getting evga 680i motherboard, and 2 8800gtx gfx card. so these are pretty sensitive equipments.

It seems that I can be playing for 15 minutes for 8 hours and then out of nowhere my computer just shuts off. Typically after this problem it also has trouble booting up, it gets stuck on the windows screen that shows the loading bar streaming across the screen. As I said before I am relatively sure it is not overheating(I have a CPU fan with heatsink, a GPU fan, a PSU fan, and 2 case fans. I have my suspicions about eh hard drive though, because in Windows in the bottom right task bar it shows the Safe to Remove Hardware button for my hard drive. Is there anyone who recognizes this problem, or knows of some place where I could get help, preferably a place I would not have to pay for-such as Best Buy or Fry's Electronics.

I just bought this mouse from eBay. And I downloaded the software for it and it still isn't working. Why is that? I changed the batteries. It says it sees it but the pointer isn't moving. Please Help!

I inserted a usb disk drive on my laptop. I tried to copy an AutoCAD file drawn by some Japanese client of ours (in Japanese font). Then I reboot, and suddenly, it kind of reformatted itself and deleted my old user account. All files are still intact but most of the programs doesn't work anymore. I tried to use system restore but all restore points were gone.

I just built a comp and not big into OCing so i kept things stock speed. my temps are 35c case and 32 cpu temp. my graphics cards are at around 40 with after market HS. I was wondering are these temps normal? and what are other peoples temps?

I just restarted my computer everything is messed up. I went to display and the screen resolution is 800x600 and 4 bit color, it won't let me adjust it so I dont know what to do.

Need to know if this is a good card. I plan on geting this card because i only can fit agp slots in my pc. So geting this plus 2 more gigs of ram(3 gigs all together). (will cost me about $300).I have a amd athlon 64 3400+ with xp.

I plan on upgrading my pc but dont have the money now to do it---plan on geting intel core 2 duo($270), mother board(150), memory(100-200), geforce 8800 gts or gtx or ultra(300-600), possably a new power supply, case, and some other little stuff like fans and so on. LIke to get a 22'' monitor but that will have to wait. Um, very costly. Sooo ..

Need to know if the geforce 7950 can handle newer games like call of duty 4, quake wars, and battle field, and so on. Im sure it can handle it but realy dont want to bring down the graphics to LOW. I dont need a card to last me for years just for a little while. thx thx thx
