I heard (not confirmed) that the Quad Cores are only just two physical cores each running two virtual ones. There has yet to be a processor with four physical cores. Not sure, but I'd personally stick with the Core 2 Duo series. Go for the Core 2 Duo Extreme series if you want performance.

very very nice but i would recommend keeping xp on it vista isn't really worth the extra extra cash unless you really need it for something but overall good job
